Oh Jeepers, now I'm getting nervous
2 more sleeps until I'm outa here - the developed part of the world. I'm getting really kind of nervous. I keep thinking that this time next week I'll be at work. That bit doesn't make me nervous but the fact that it is back in Uzbekistan does. It's not that I don't like my job, I do, it's that well it's in Uzbekistan. Don't get me wrong, as you can tell from my wee archive of photos, it is a beautiful country. In fact I hope to be able to explore it some more in the next 10 months. I'm just not that keen on living there.
I found this hilarious article (I say hilarious as I can picture myself in all of the situations that the writer describes) today and it somewhat fills me with dread.

Actually the article seems to have been written about 10 years ago. It's amazing that the situations and people sound the same as they are today in 2008 but the exchange rate is now more like 1380 soum to $1 USA as opposed to the 70 that he describes.
Maybe tomorrow I'll feel a little more brave.
